Robert Charles Copeman

Bob Copeman was a regular competitor in IMSA races in the early 1980s driving Porsche 911s from 1980 untill 1984. He then took a couple of years off before returning in 1988 at the Daytona 24 Hour race at the end of January. Sadly a few weeks later he was killed in an accident at Turn 1 during a qualifying session for the 36th Coca-Cola Sebring 12 Hour race.
