Franck Freon
Sports car driver. Has competed at le Mans nine times (1994-2002). He has competed in single seaters in the French F3 Championship and in Indy Lights in the USA. His sports car racing has taken in both the ALMS series as well as the PSCR World Sports Car Championship. He won the Petit Le Mans GTS in 2000 and 2001 as well as GTS in the Sebring 12 Hour race. His best overall finish at Le Mans was a 7th in 1994 in the Kudzu-Mazda DG3. In a stunning upset in 2001 Franck Freon, Ron Fellows and Johnny O'Connell, took overall victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in a Corvette C5-R. It was the first time a Corvette had won Floridas grueling test of endurance. In 2002 he took secong in the GTS Class at Le Mans in the C5R with Andy Pilgrim and Kelly Collins and he repeated this in 2003 with Ron Fellows and Johnny OConnell finishing a close second to a Ferrari 550 Maranello.
