P.A.T. Garland

2/2/1916 - 4/8/1999
Record updated 08-Mar-23
Patrick Arthur Talbot Garland was one of the many who racing career was delayed by the outbreak of war in 1939, but was quickly in action as soon as hostilities came to an end, taking a 3-litre Delageto sixth place in an important sportscar race at Brussels in 1946, and following that with fourth in the GP des Frontières at Chimay two years later.
Living in France at the time, he bought himself a brand new 4½-litre Grand Prix Talbot-Lago T26C, but in spite of having his entry accepted for four events, failed to start any of them.
