Amanda is a well known radio and television presenter who also writes for a number of newspapers and motoring journals. She has been involved in motor sport all her life competing in historic racing as well as ASCAR and the FIA GT Championship.

Amanda, daughter of the late famous automobile collector and historic racer Terry Cohn, grew up in London. She began by racing Moto-X bikes at the age of 13. Whilst school-friends were pursuing more feminine hobbies, Amanda’s love of all things fast continued to grow. At 18, she enjoyed her first taste of racing cars and began competing on both the national and international historic cars circuits, earning ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Classic and Sportscar Awards.

Aside from a father involved in motor sport, she was married to Martin Streton and after they divorced, to Bob Berridge with whom she has two children Mia and Marcus.

In 2001 became the first ever female driver to compete in the ASCAR (Anglo-American Stock Car Racing) Mintex Cup where she finished 6th. In 2003 she made the decision to focus on her lifelong ambition and has been gaining valuable experience for Le Mans ever since.

In 2003, she entered the first ever female team in the British GT Championships 2003 and was the first British female to race in the FIA Championships. The highlight of her career however, came in September when she became the first British woman to win an international long distance event at Spa, Belgium, beating her husband and fellow competitor.

She also works alongside husband Bob to oversee the commercial aspects of the two-car team that operates under the combined Chamberlain-Synergy banner. An accomplished racer himself, Bob’s team is currently leading the LM P2 series.

Amanda co-presented the ‘Goodwood Revival' with Murray Walker on ITV1. Whilst her classic car series 'Dream Machine', which was made for and shown on FIVE, is being repeated on Discovery Homes and Leisure.

Previously Amanda was the face of Channel 4’s motorsport programming presenting 'Motorsport on 4' which included the British Formula 3, GT, MGF and Rally Championships, as well as the Anglo-American Stock Car Racing series and UK Supercross.  She has also presented Channel 4’s Driven, Sky Sports, the Travel Channel, EuroSport, NOW.com, Silverstone TV, and is one of the radio commentators for the American and European Le Mans Series.

Amanda is also a freelance journalist and writes for a range of newspaper columns and specialist motoring titles.
