Australian born sprint car racer who was killed at Southern Iowa Speedway in 2003.
Hutton was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, but had moved to Knoxville IA. He was a Sprint car driver but only raced in a handful of events every year, focusing on his duties as crew chief for Vermeer MotorSports, he was also a crew-member for two seasons for Randy Hannagan on the World of Outlaws circuit.
Hutton raced in the Masters Classic for drivers over age 50.
He was killed at Southern Iowa Speedway when his car got together with another competitor during a round of the SCRA Non Wing World Championship. His car flipped on the front straight and Hutton succumbed to his injuries.
