From the canton of Ticino in Switzerland, Enzo raced touring cars and GTs with considerable International success.

He started racing in 1977 and, in a career that lasted over 30 years, he took a number of significant wins.

With 5 podium finishes on the BMW 320 , he finished 6th in the FIA European Touring Car Championship in 1980.

He raced at Le Mans 24 Hours five times between 1985 and 1997, the last four times with fellow Swiss driver (and partner) Lilian Bryner driving a Porsche 911. His best finish was a ninth place overall and 2nd in GT2 in 1994 with a Ecurie Biennoise 911 Carrera Cup RSR.

He took part in the FIA GT championship in 1997 and regularly from 2002 to 2005, finishing 5th in both 2003 and 2004 driving a Ferrari 550 Maranello. His results included victory at Spa in 2004 and 11 podiums from 37 races. In 2009 he competed in the TCR, an Italian touring car endurance series, driving a BMW M3 E92.

Notable wins:

• 500 Kilometers at Donington in 1983 with Martin Brundle and John Fitzpatrick driving a Jaguar XJS (ETCC)
• 3 Hours of Hockenheim in 1983 with a BMW M1
• 500 kilometers from Pergusa in 1984 with Martin Brundle on Jaguar XJS (ETCC)
• RAC Tourist Trophy in 1987 with Fabio Mancini on BMW M3
• Class wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1994, 1995 and 1996 with Lilian Bryner driving the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR for Ecurie Biennoise and then Stadler Motorsport.
• 24 Hours of Spa in 2004 with Lilian Bryner and Italians Luca Cappellari and Fabrizio Gollin with the Scuderia Italia Ferrari 550 Maranello and taking GT class wins in 2003 and 2004 and 4th in 2005.

He also finished 2nd at the 1,000 km of Monza in 1998

• 2nd at the 6 Hours of Vallelunga 1998. 3rd in 1994 and 1996
• 2nd in 1984 and 3rd in 1998 at the RAC Tourist Trophy, Silverstone
• 3rd in the 1,000 km at the Nürburgring in 1982
• 5th in 1995, 3rd in 1996 and 4th in 1999 at the Daytona 24 Hours

His father Jacques was also a racing driver active from the late 1950s to 1968, and took part in the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours driving an Aston Martin DB4.
