Philippe is the son of Jo Siffert, who died on the 24 October 1971 at Brands Hatch when Philippe was just nine months old. Philippe Siffert has started in Ford Formula before graduating to the GM Lotus series. He thenwent to the 'States and raced in the Skip Barber Dodge series. Siffert jr has also raced at Le Mans, the Renault Sport Clio Trophy and other saloon and sports car races.
