Sprint car driver who turned to building cars after he retired fom driving.

Joe Giba was born in Aurora, nr. Denver, Colorado, USA and is ranked 21st on the list of all time Colorado Midget Feature Event Victories from 1935-2004, with 22 wins.

He attempted to qualify for the Indy 500 in 1958 driving a Kurtis 500D but failed. 

He became a midget & sprint car builder after he retired form driving in the 1960's.

He died of lung cancer in 1986.
