Juha Kankkunen is a four-time World Rally Champion, which is a record matched only by his fellow Finn and good friend Tommi Makinen. His first WRC win was in Safari '85. The next year he won the Championship with Peugeot and then again in '87 with Lancia. In 1991, after a classic fight with Carlos Sainz, he got his third title and again in 1993, with the same marque. Despite all the success Juha has remained in his attitudes the same farmer from a rural Finnish town as he used to be, although he has now his second home in Monaco.
