Ian Macpherson M Stewart was born in Edinburgh. He participated in one World Championship Grand Prix, for the Scottish Ecurie Ecosse team, on 18 July 1953. He failed to finish due to an ignition fault and scored no championship points. He also competed in several non-Championship Grand Prix.He retired early from his racing career to work in the family agricultural business in Perth and Kinross, where he still lives. He is involved in the historic side of the sport.

Jim Clark 1936 - 1968
To many, Jim Clark remains the greatest racing driver in history. He won 25 of his 72 Grands Prix, and his victory in the 1965 Indianapolis 500 crushed the American racing psyche. He had a towering ability to get the maximum out of any car he drove, without appearing to be trying hard.

Graham Hill 1929 - 1975
Charismatic and charming, Graham HIll was almost universaly popular with the public. He had a quick wit and was a natural entertainer. He won two World Chamionships, in 1962 for BRM and in 1968 for Lotus. His love of the sport caused him to race on past his best but he retired in 1975 to concentrate on running his team and developing the natural tallent of Tony Brise. Sadly he was killed along with Brise and three other team members when his plane crashed in thick fog on a golf course in north London. -
Ian Raby 1921 - 1967
Raby started racing in 500cc F3 before graduating to F1 and sports cars. Crashed at Zandvoort in July of 1967 and succumbed to his injuries at the start of November. -
Tommy Bridger 1924 - 1991
Successful 500cc F3 driver who competed in one Grand Prix, Morocco in 1958 where he crashed. -
Colin Davis 1933
Son of the legendary S C H 'Sammy' Davis, Colin started racing in 500cc F3 before moving up to Sports Cars and GP racing. He won the Targa Florio in 1964 with Antonio Pucci in a works Porsche 904.
