The younger brother of Gunnar, Erik was also born in Holland, raised in South Africa. With his two children and wife, Erik resides in South Carolina. Racing and cars have always been his passion. Go-carting was the start of Erics' racing career. Like Gunnar, a love of cars created his own company, Top-Coat enterprises. This company is another sponsor of van der Steur Racing. Eriks' experience as one of our drivers continues to grow. Another van der Steur to watch in the ALMS series.
