He won his first Riverside race in 1950 and his last on July 24, 1965, the Riverside 500 Team Race, with Wild Bill Greco. That was to be Jocko's last race, retiring as a winner.

In all he won 31 feature races and multiple championships at Riverside Park Speedway in Agawam, Mass. He is eighth on the track's all-time win list. He is a member of the New England Auto Racers Hall of Fame.
