Raced AAA and sports cars in the USA. Campaigned a Kurtis 500S in sports car races.
He appeared at the Indy 500 in 1936. He qualified in 22nd place in the Abels Auto Ford Adams/Cragar. He retired after 51 laps with a broken crankshaft. He also ran at Westbury the same year but crashed in practice.
We was back at Indy in 1937 but crashed in practice unfortunately killing Albert Opalko, his riding mechanic. In 1939 he ran at Milwaukee and Syracuse failing to finish in either race and again in 1941 with similar results.
Later became a crew chief for JC Agajanian and went on to work for Chevrolet & General Motors as an equipment manufacturer and was involved in the aftermarket industry in California.
