Andrew Ridgeley
Andrew John Ridgeley was born in Windlesham, Surrey, England.

Erstwhile member of the band Wham with George Michael. He started racing in the one make Renault 5 series in 1985 where he developed his talent for trying to race on the green bits. I was racing in Sports 2000 at the time and whenever the two series met we always had a sweepstake to see how many laps it would be before Andrew fell off. The low numbers were always in high demand.

Ridgeley moved to Monaco as a tax exile when the band broke up. There he persued a career as a racing driver running in French Formula Three with Dave Price Racing.

After crashing in six of his first eight races and failing to find sponsors, even though he was interesting to watch, he retired.

He signed with Columbia records in 1990 and did one solo album Son of Albert.

Andrew now lives in Wadebridge, Cornwall, UK with his girlfriend Keren Woodward, of the girl pop group Bananarama. They have a son, Thomas, from Keren's previous relationship.

Andrew is a partner in a business in France that makes surfing goods and, after he and his brother contracted a water borne disease surfing off the coast of England in the early 1990’s, he became actively involved with the environment group, Surfers Against Sewage. He works with the group to make sure that laws that ensure the safe disposal of sewage are enacted and passed promptly. It is believed that due to his efforts, the number of E-Coli illnesses and deaths in the UK have reduced drastically.
